Japanese Sword Mikazuki Munechika Paper Model - by Hirai Tosiaki & MINYA

Created by Japanese designers Hirai Tosiaki & MINYA for Canon's website, this beautiful miniature paper model of a legendary katana, the Mikazuki Munechika, considered one of the five greatest swords of Japan, forged during the Heian period by the master swordsmith Sanjo Kokaji Munechika. The sword is named for the pattern in the folds of steel that resembles many crescent moons, or "mikazuki" in Japanese. The Mikazuki Munechika, occupies only two sheets of paper and seems to me to be on an approximate scale of 1/50, but I'm just relying on the templates, so I do not have assurance. - Again I say thanks to my friend Jo Kizinger for another beautiful find!

Criada pelos designers japoneses Hirai Tosiaki e MINYA para o site da Canon, este belo modelo de papel em miniatura de uma katana lendária, a Mikazuki Munechika, considerada uma das cinco mais belas espadas do Japão, forjada durante o período Heian pelo mestre ferreiro Sanjo Kokaji Munechika. A espada ganhou esse nome pelo padrão das dobras do aço, que se assemelham a muitas luas crescentes, ou "mikazuki" em japonês. Dampé is a gravekeeper who resides in a shack in the Kakariko Village graveyard. At night, he can dig up treasures for Link for a small fee. - You will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D. Created by Japanese designer and modeler Lazy Life, this is the paper model version in 1/72 scale of the WW2`s Light Tank M24 Chaffee, used by USA army during the later part of World War II and in postwar conflicts including the Korean War and by France in the War in Algeria and the First Indochina War. Do not be fooled by the rich details of this model. The 1/72 scale is very small, and the model of the photo is little bigger than a matchbox.

Criada pelo designer e modelista japonês Lazy Life, esta é a versão em papel na escala 1/72 do Tanque Leve M24 Chaffee da Segunda Guerra Mundial, usado pelo exército dos EUA na Segunda Guerra Mundial e em conflitos pós-guerra, incluindo a Guerra da Coréia e, pelos franceses, na Guerra na Argélia e na Primeira Guerra da Indochina. Não se deixe enganar pela riqueza de detalhes deste modelo. A escala 1/72 é bem pequena, sendo que o modelo da foto é pouco maior que uma caixa de fósforos.
